GPGI Investors Face September Deadline in Husky Acquisition Lawsuit

Investors who purchased GPGI, Inc. stock between November 3, 2025, and May 6, 2026, have until September 14, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a class action lawsuit alleging that the company misled shareholders regarding the financial health of its acquisition, Husky Technologies Limited.

The litigation, filed in the Southern District of New York as City of Warren Police and Fire Retirement System v. GPGI, Inc., centers on claims that the acquisition of Husky was structured to benefit Resolute Holdings Management, Inc. and top executives rather than to generate long-term value for shareholders. The complaint alleges that defendants overstated Husky’s value and provided revenue and EBITDA targets that lacked an objective basis.

Financial disclosures throughout 2026 triggered significant stock volatility. Following March reports of margin compression at Husky, GPGI shares dropped 16% over two days. A sharper decline of nearly 26% occurred in May 2026, after the company revealed a 40.2% year-over-year drop in Husky’s Pro Forma Adjusted EBITDA and issued a downward revision to its annual financial guidance. The law firm Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP is spearheading the case, inviting shareholders who suffered substantial losses to participate in the lead plaintiff selection process.
