Rebecca Arthur, a partner at Novogradac who oversees the firm’s Kansas City and Dallas operations, will preside over the event, which includes the presentation of the 2026 Development of Distinction Awards. The gathering aims to unite developers, lenders, and public-sector partners to address the shifting landscape of housing finance, specifically focusing on the integration of 4% LIHTCs and private activity bonds.

The agenda features deep dives into debt and equity structures, alongside technical sessions led by the Novogradac Rental Housing Preservation Working Group. Participants will tackle practical challenges ranging from gap financing to compliance protocols. For those requiring a fundamental review of investment structures and credit timelines, a dedicated LIHTC Basics Workshop is scheduled for September 30.

"Addressing the need for affordable housing requires a coordinated, well-informed approach," Arthur said, emphasizing the event's role in providing actionable takeaways for a dynamic policy environment. Co-hosted by Huntington Bank, the conference also draws support from a broad coalition of industry firms, including PNC Bank, R4 Capital, and Polsinelli Law Firm, reflecting the broad stakeholder interest in current housing development strategies.
