Cybertel Bridge Launches Hybrid Tech to Eliminate Radio Dead Zones
Frontline teams operating in underground facilities or remote sites often face life-threatening communication gaps when broadband signals fail. Cybertel Bridge is now deploying its Embedded Hybrid Architecture, a system designed to automatically switch between 5G/LTE and DMR networks, ensuring constant connectivity without manual intervention from the field operator.

The new technology, integrated into the company’s LM75 platform, bridges the divide between broadband Mission Critical Services (MCX) and traditional off-network radio. By utilizing a Qualcomm QCM6490-based platform, the hardware manages signal transitions autonomously. When broadband coverage drops below critical levels, the system shifts to DMR DMO; it then restores the primary connection the moment a stable signal returns. This functionality eliminates the need for personnel to monitor their own signal strength during high-stakes operations.
Beyond simple fallback, the architecture supports software-based repeating, allowing interoperability between DMR and MCX groups without additional hardware infrastructure. Cybertel Bridge CEO Back San Nam emphasized that the objective is to remove the burden of connectivity management from frontline officers entirely. Manufactured in Seoul, the devices meet Trade Agreements Act compliance, catering to public safety and utility sectors that require secure, consistent communication chains.
