Trenfit Launches clossie to Bridge Seoul Fashion and European Markets

European shoppers now have a direct digital gateway to South Korea’s avant-garde fashion scene through the newly launched mobile platform, clossie. By bypassing traditional barriers like language and sizing, the service aims to bring Seoul’s high-sensibility independent designers directly to consumers in the UK, France, and Germany.

The platform utilizes a proprietary AI engine developed by parent company Trenfit to solve the persistent friction of cross-border retail. Instead of a standard catalog, the system applies a "Style Compatibility Factor" to translate Korean design aesthetics for local body types and sartorial preferences. This technology was refined through three physical pop-up showcases in London, which allowed the company to calibrate its curation algorithms against real-world consumer feedback.

Operational support is managed through the company's London-based hub, CLOSSIE UK LTD, ensuring the logistics required for premium delivery standards. CEO Han Sangyoon emphasizes that the project moves beyond mere trends, focusing instead on the craftsmanship and narrative depth of Korean labels. Following this initial rollout, Trenfit plans to scale the platform by incorporating premium K-beauty and lifestyle products, alongside the introduction of B2B wholesale channels to further integrate Korean design into the European market.
