Touchmark Launches AI Compute Futures Market with Tölt Strategies
California-based Touchmark Technologies entered the market on August 14, debuting a trading platform for AI inference compute capacity. The launch, supported by regulatory firm Tölt Strategies, allows commercial buyers and producers to trade forward contracts, aiming to stabilize costs in the volatile AI infrastructure sector.

The platform enables businesses to secure future AI inference capacity through tokenized forward contracts, providing a hedge against the price fluctuations typical of spot market procurement. By locking in these agreements, buyers can manage budgets more predictably, while producers gain access to upfront capital for future production. This structure mirrors established energy market models, applying them to the high-demand world of GPU compute.
Dorothy D. DeWitt, founder of Tölt Strategies and former director at the CFTC, noted that the firm navigated the compliance hurdles necessary to bring the novel exchange to life. Touchmark co-founders Ilia Bolgov and Roman Yanushevskyi credited this strategic guidance with the platform’s rapid development. As demand for compute infrastructure continues to surge, the firms intend to expand their collaboration to include additional products designed to address friction in the AI development lifecycle.
