The U.S. Senate confirmed Dr. L. Roger Mason Jr. as the new Director of the National Reconnaissance Office, marking a high-profile transition from the private sector to the helm of one of the nation’s most sensitive intelligence agencies. Mason departs his role as Chief Growth Officer at V2X effective immediately.
Since joining V2X in 2025, Mason spearheaded the firm’s integrated growth organization, directing corporate strategy, technology development, and government affairs. His tenure focused on aligning the company's capabilities with shifting national security priorities, a background that now informs his oversight of the NRO’s satellite reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering operations.
