The collaboration will initially concentrate on US casualty lines, specifically encompassing general liability, excess, and construction segments. By integrating Indico’s platform, the insurer intends to replace manual, labor-intensive processes with a system capable of enriching and routing variable inputs into its core underwriting architecture. This shift is designed to ensure that data remains consistent and ready for immediate processing once it enters the business.

Kashif Syed, Chief Information & Transformation Officer at HDI Global US, noted that modernizing the front-end of the underwriting process is essential for scaling operations without sacrificing quality or control. Tom Wilde, CEO of Indico Data, emphasized that operational excellence depends on the efficacy of work as it enters the organization. By creating a more scalable infrastructure, the company seeks to improve throughput and maintain its competitive edge in the corporate and specialty insurance markets.
