ALKEME Jumps to 16th Spot in Annual P&C Agency Rankings
With a 43.4% surge in property and casualty revenue, ALKEME Insurance has vaulted five positions to reach 16th place on the 2026 Insurance Journal Top 100 list. This leap marks the highest percentage growth among all firms reporting over $200 million in P&C revenue, signaling a rapid expansion for the California-based brokerage.
The company reported $380 million in P&C revenue for 2026, a substantial increase from the $265 million recorded the previous year. This trajectory underscores a strategy centered on blending organic growth with the acquisition of high-performing, culturally aligned regional agencies. Since its inception in 2020, the firm has integrated over 95 acquisitions and now maintains a footprint spanning more than 100 locations across 35 states.
CEO Curtis Barton attributed the climb to disciplined execution and a commitment to client service. He noted that the firm’s rise is not coincidental but rather the product of supporting local teams that maintain high performance standards. Beyond the Insurance Journal ranking, ALKEME currently holds the number three spot on Business Insurance's list of the fastest-growing brokers, further cementing its position as a major player in the national insurance landscape.
