Nothing expands the CMF Phone 2 Pro with swappable modular accessories
A modular handset designed for customization, the CMF Phone 2 Pro arrives with a suite of screw-on accessories and swappable camera lenses. While the device offers a competitive budget Android experience, Nothing continues its strategy of excluding the North American market from this specific hardware release.

The Phone 2 Pro features a 120Hz OLED display, a triple rear camera array, and 128GB of base storage. Unlike its predecessor, which allowed for full backplate replacement, this model uses a fixed rear chassis. Users attach accessories like a kickstand-wallet combo or a lanyard directly to a screw-on cover. This design shift likely contributed to an improved IP54 water-resistance rating, up from the IP52 standard found on the original CMF device.
Most notable among the new hardware options are the swappable camera lenses, which snap into a plastic ring surrounding the primary sensor. While the phone remains inaccessible to US consumers, the integration of magnetic attachments and modular covers suggests a refined approach to the company's hardware ecosystem. By moving away from removable backplates, Nothing has prioritized structural durability while maintaining the playful, highly customizable aesthetic that defines the CMF subbrand.
