D-Link Launches BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 Enterprise Access Point Series

Taipei-based D-Link Corporation has introduced the DAP-E3620 series, a new line of BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 enterprise access points. Designed to support high-density environments, the hardware integrates with the company’s 2.5Gbps Multi-Gigabit PoE switches to provide a scalable, end-to-end networking solution for modern business infrastructure.

The new series targets diverse deployment needs with three distinct form factors: the ceiling-mount DAP-E3620 for offices and classrooms, the wall-plate DAP-E3620W for hospitality and residential units, and the outdoor-ready DAP-E3620OU. Each unit leverages advanced Wi-Fi 7 features, including Multi-Link Operation, 4K-QAM, and Multi-RU, to reduce latency and increase throughput for bandwidth-heavy applications like video conferencing and IoT management.

By pairing these access points with D-Link’s DMS-1250 Series switches, organizations gain a unified system that handles both power and data transmission through Power over Ethernet. The architecture is supported by centralized management options, including the Nuclias Unity cloud platform and dedicated hardware controllers, allowing IT administrators to monitor and configure infrastructure across multiple sites from a single dashboard. This rollout aims to provide a secure, future-ready foundation for businesses transitioning to hybrid work models and smart building technologies.
