Hardlines Supplier Event Launches to Reshape Industry Sourcing
Retailers and manufacturers face a shifting global market, prompting the debut of the Hardlines Supplier Event. Scheduled for March 9-10, 2027, in Las Vegas, the platform aims to replace traditional trade show browsing with data-driven matchmaking, connecting brands directly with qualified production partners to accelerate supply chain development.

The two-day event focuses on high-stakes sectors including hardware, home improvement, lawn and garden, and automotive. By prioritizing a sourcing-first model, organizers intend to move beyond simple product displays, offering attendees tools to evaluate manufacturing capabilities, certifications, and production scalability. The initiative seeks to help private-label programs and wholesalers reduce risks by vetting partners before they ever reach the show floor.
Central to the experience is the Supplier Review program, which requires participants to submit detailed capability profiles and sourcing priorities in advance. This data allows for curated, pre-arranged introductions. Complementing this, the invitation-only Executive Circle provides senior leaders with concierge-level support and personalized agendas. Event Director Hector Morfin noted that the program aims to shift the focus from traditional VIP perks toward measurable sourcing outcomes and purposeful relationship-building. Alongside these networking channels, the event will host a conference series covering supply chain resilience, private label growth, and manufacturing trends to provide actionable insights for attendees.
