ZEISS to Showcase Industrial Metrology Tools at IMTS 2026

As manufacturing shifts toward automation and AI, the volume of raw data on the factory floor is surging, yet the ability to trust that information remains a critical hurdle. At IMTS 2026 in Chicago, ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions aims to bridge this gap by demonstrating how precise metrology transforms data into action.

At booth #134302 in Chicago’s McCormick Place, the company will occupy 5,200 square feet to display its latest portfolio, ranging from multisensor coordinate measuring machines and 3D scanners to advanced CT/X-ray non-destructive testing systems. The exhibit centers on the theme of "Certainty," focusing on software that integrates digital workflows and AI-assisted analysis to identify quality issues before they result in production disruptions.

Beyond hardware demonstrations, the booth will host the "Certainty Challenge," an interactive experience designed to simulate real-world manufacturing scenarios. Hendrie Viktor, President of ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions USA, noted that the next phase of industrial transformation depends less on data collection and more on the confidence with which teams can execute decisions. To further support this, the company will host technical sessions, including a deep dive into AI-enhanced computed tomography by Dr. Herminso V. Gómez and educational outreach through the ZEISS Academic Program, which prepares students for careers in advanced manufacturing.
