RayNeo Splits AR Strategy with Productivity-Focused iO and Cinematic GT
Commanding a 23.7% share of the global consumer AR market, RayNeo is bifurcating its hardware strategy to address two distinct user needs: ambient daily intelligence and high-fidelity entertainment. The company officially debuts its new product lines, the iO Smart Glasses and the cinema-grade GT Series, on September 4, 2026.

The RayNeo iO Smart Glasses prioritize discreet, all-day utility for professionals. Weighing 33 grams and styled with a retro Crown Panto aesthetic, the glasses feature a 0.085cc monochrome green Firefly Nano Engine that projects data directly into the user’s field of vision while remaining invisible to onlookers. Beyond hardware, the iO integrates an Ambient AI Life Log capable of parsing meeting contexts and automating calendar updates, supported by a multi-model selection that allows users to toggle between LLMs like Gemini, Claude, and DeepSeek.
Conversely, the RayNeo GT and GT Max target the mobile media market with a focus on immersive spatial viewing. The GT Max features a 59° field of view and utilizes a 5.5th-gen Tandem MicroOLED display to simulate screens up to 307 inches. These models incorporate a dual-chip architecture with dedicated 3DoF tracking, Dolby Vision support, and spatial audio co-tuned by Bang & Olufsen. Both product lines will be available for purchase on September 4, 2026, with live demonstrations scheduled at IFA 2026 in Berlin.
