MyDataWork Launches Team Edition on AWS Marketplace
Chicago-based analytics platform MyDataWork has moved its team-focused workspace onto the AWS Marketplace, streamlining procurement for organizations scaling their data operations. The platform offers a unified view of analytical assets, aiming to bridge the gap between individual experimentation and governed, AI-ready business intelligence across multi-vendor environments.

The platform functions as a context layer, tracking metadata for dashboards, SQL queries, and AI models without accessing raw file contents or query results. By mapping dependencies and stakeholder ownership, the tool helps teams move beyond fragmented workflows. Founder Gib Bassett noted that the platform’s value compounds when tribal knowledge is converted into shared context, allowing leaders to oversee the analytical portfolio backing their business decisions.
Designed for teams transitioning toward governed AI adoption, the software provides visibility into lineage, risk, and asset value. The AWS Marketplace listing includes support for up to 20 users and a catalog capacity of 25,000 assets, backed by a monthly allotment of 9,000 AI credits. While individual analysts can utilize the tool to highlight their own contributions, the team edition targets organizations requiring a centralized environment to manage modernization and data reuse strategies.
