Tom Hanks Narrated Moonwalker Experience Arrives in South Florida
Beginning September 24, 2026, the Cornelia T. Bailey Center at South Florida PBS in Boynton Beach will host The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks. The immersive 360-degree exhibition chronicles the history of lunar exploration through remastered NASA footage and a cinematic score by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Running through March 24, 2027, the 50-minute production traces the trajectory of human spaceflight from the early Apollo missions to the contemporary goals of NASA's Artemis program. Visitors are guided by actor Tom Hanks, whose narration anchors a sensory experience featuring spatial audio and panoramic projections. The exhibition also includes a nine-minute pre-show segment and an interactive holographic encounter designed to simulate the realities of life in space.
Tickets for the event are currently available at $45 for general admission and $22 for children. Organized by South Florida PBS in collaboration with Lightroom and Paquin Entertainment Group, the presentation seeks to blend historical archive material with modern technical displays. The installation represents one of several international stops for the production, which has previously appeared in markets across Europe and Asia.
