Futu Holdings Faces Class Action Over Alleged Securities Violations

The litigation alleges the company misled shareholders by failing to disclose that its operations in China lacked essential licensing from the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

The complaint filed against the NASDAQ-listed firm centers on violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Plaintiffs contend that Futu consistently issued false statements regarding its regulatory compliance, masking the significant risk of enforcement action by Chinese authorities. By omitting these licensing failures, the company allegedly misled the market about the stability and legality of its core business model.

David J. Schwartz of the DJS Law Group is spearheading the effort to represent affected shareholders. While the firm is soliciting potential lead plaintiffs to spearhead the litigation, participation in the recovery process does not strictly require such an appointment. Investors who suffered losses during the specified period are encouraged to reach out to the legal team for formal evaluation of their claims.
