Puglia, who currently leads the firm’s East Region, will oversee the end-to-end vision and commercialization of the company’s product portfolio. According to Deloitte Tax CEO Carin Giuliante, the appointment addresses the need to deliver differentiated capabilities at scale as the tax landscape reacts to new AI-driven possibilities. Puglia’s mandate includes fostering a product-first mindset to help C-suite clients transition from legacy processes to agile, technology-driven structures.

Jeremy Blank, the firm’s chief strategy officer, noted that the role will unify product development with go-to-market priorities. By integrating marketplace feedback and strengthening ties with technology partners, the firm intends to accelerate the adoption of new platforms. Puglia, an NYU Stern MBA graduate, previously specialized in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise-wide tax transformation, providing a background the firm believes is essential for aligning tax strategy with broader business growth.
