Integrate Lands Space Force Contract as J.P. Morgan Backs Defense Tech
The Space Systems Integration Office has tapped Seattle-based Integrate to manage its national security space portfolio, a move designed to replace manual reporting with real-time data. The deal comes alongside a $6 million venture debt facility from J.P. Morgan, signaling a shift toward automated project management in defense.

The Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO) functions as the central nervous system for the U.S. Space Force, overseeing the execution of complex programs across various security domains. By deploying Integrate’s platform, the office aims to gain granular visibility into project timelines and resource allocation, moving away from outdated, static status reports. Helen Ying, System of Systems Engineering Lead at the Space Force, noted that the platform enhances the ability to track minute technical details alongside broader mission objectives.
Integrate differentiates its service through a Single Timeline Architecture, which allows data to flow across different classification levels and organizational boundaries. This capability is intended to accelerate acquisition speeds, a recurring priority for defense leadership. John Conafay, CEO of Integrate, emphasized that the platform replaces the current reliance on manual slide decks with automated AI workflows capable of risk discovery and dependency tracking.
To scale these operations, the company secured a $6 million debt facility from J.P. Morgan’s Innovation Economy group. John China, Co-Head of the division, stated that the bank is prioritizing financing for technologies that streamline operations within the aerospace and defense sectors. This latest contract follows the company's inclusion in the 2026 NatSec100 list, an industry ranking of top-tier venture-backed defense firms. Integrate previously established a footprint in the sector with a $25 million contract awarded last year by the Space Force’s Mission Manifest Office.
