Pizza Hut Recruits Josh Allen for Gameday Marketing Push
Quarterback Josh Allen is trading his professional snap count for a promotional one, headlining a new Pizza Hut campaign that frames the brand as the essential starting point for football season. The effort invites fans to share their own gameday rituals for a chance to secure free pizza for life.

The campaign centers on the phonetic overlap between the brand’s name and the standard football snap count. By partnering with the Buffalo Bills star, Pizza Hut aims to capture the attention of the amateur and professional football community alike. As part of the promotion, customers are encouraged to upload videos of themselves calling a "Hut" to the company's dedicated portal, with three winners slated to receive one million Hut Rewards points, valued at approximately $10,800 each.
Alongside the marketing push, the company has introduced several football-themed menu items, including a $10 large three-topping pizza and the Triple Treat Box Gameday Edition. To further lean into the season, pizza boxes will feature cutouts that can be assembled into miniature field goal posts. According to Melissa Friebe, Chief Marketing Officer at Pizza Hut U.S., the strategy is designed to acknowledge the "quarterbacks" of every social gathering, whether they are hosting a tailgate or managing a living room watch party.
