The new platform arrives as financial firms struggle to balance the need for high-speed automated insights with the strict security and data lineage requirements of the sector. By deploying a Google-managed Financial Research agent alongside 50 specialized skills, the system aims to replace manual data gathering with workflows that offer full transparency, including confidence scores and precise source citations. The platform supports secure integrations with major market data providers, such as S&P Global, Moody’s, and MSCI, allowing institutions to maintain control over their proprietary information.

Early adopters, including CME Group and Deutsche Bank, are already utilizing the tool to streamline operations ranging from credit risk assessment to bond issuance. Deutsche Bank, which served as a design partner, plans to leverage the technology to reduce manual research burdens and enhance its financial crime risk management processes. The platform is built to operate within existing office software environments, including Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, enabling analysts to export AI-generated insights directly into standard reporting formats. Google Cloud has also enlisted a broad partner ecosystem, including Deloitte, Accenture, and KPMG, to assist financial institutions with custom configuration and large-scale deployment of these agentic capabilities.
