The organization, established in 2026 to foster innovation in workplace safety, required a more flexible digital infrastructure to manage diverse funding workflows. According to Joshua Workman, President and CEO of the Fund, the decision followed a rigorous evaluation of competitors. He noted that the platform’s ability to handle sophisticated, multi-stage funding cycles was a deciding factor in moving away from legacy processes.

Fluxx, which specializes in technology for the social good sector, will provide the Fund with automated, role-aware workflows and integrated portfolio analytics. Ashley Boyer, Chief Revenue Officer at Fluxx, stated that the partnership is designed to move beyond simple grant administration, focusing instead on accelerating promising research from initial discovery into practical, real-world applications for Canadian workers.
