The addition of Savage and Bordoy marks a shift in how Monks integrates its proprietary AI platform, Monks.Flow, into the creative process. By embedding deep strategic expertise at the start of client engagements, the firm intends to ensure that its automated outputs remain grounded in cultural relevance rather than generic algorithmic generation. Alex Oberberg, Chief Revenue Officer for EMEA, emphasized that the goal is to provide a technological engine that supports, rather than replaces, human taste and category-defining vision.

Darren Savage arrives with three decades of industry experience, including leadership roles in London and New York and work for major brands such as Nike and Apple. His background includes recognition from Cannes and D&AD, alongside academic contributions at Oxford University. Martín Bordoy brings 17 years of experience in brand architecture and cultural insight, having previously worked with global entities like Coca-Cola and Google. Together, the pair will oversee the scaling of strategic frameworks across Monks’ European operations, aiming to unify brand positioning with the company's broader digital and media services.
