Vision Marine Technologies to Delist from TSX Venture Exchange

Vision Marine Technologies is pulling its common shares from the TSX Venture Exchange, effective at the close of markets on August 26, 2026. The move aims to consolidate the company’s public-market presence on the Nasdaq, where it will continue to trade under the VMAR ticker symbol.

The decision follows a strategic shift as the Montreal-based company refocuses its operations toward the United States. According to the company, nearly all of its revenue and sales are now generated within the U.S. market. By exiting the Canadian exchange, Vision Marine intends to reduce administrative overhead, cut duplicative regulatory costs, and streamline its financial resources.

Chief Executive Officer Alexandre Mongeon stated that the Nasdaq remains central to the firm’s capital-markets strategy. While the company will no longer maintain a dual listing, it will remain a reporting issuer across all Canadian provinces and territories. Shareholders do not need to take action regarding their existing holdings, though they are encouraged to consult their brokers regarding specific requirements for trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market.
