Metpar Launches Strata Series to Modernize Restroom Partition Design
Scranton-based manufacturer Metpar has unveiled its Strata Series, a line of Aria partitions engineered for high-traffic commercial spaces. The new system combines solid phenolic construction with a floor-mounted, overhead-braced design to address growing demand for increased privacy and contemporary aesthetics in restrooms and dressing areas.

The Strata Series introduces no-sightline doors available in two height configurations: 79 inches at one inch above the finished floor or 71 inches at nine inches above the finished floor. By focusing on concealed front connections and minimal hardware, the company aims to offer a refined look that avoids the cluttered appearance of traditional partition systems. These units utilize adjustable pivot hinges that keep doors open at specific increments, while stainless steel occupancy latches provide a cohesive finish.
Built to withstand rigorous use, the partitions feature solid phenolic cores and carry a Class A fire rating. Senior Product Manager Kristen Warholic noted that the design integrates functional durability with a modern visual profile. This launch follows the 2025 acquisition of Metpar assets by Scranton Products, a move that consolidated production operations in Greeneville, Tennessee. The system is backed by a 15-year warranty, positioning the product as a long-term solution for architects and facility managers seeking to balance user privacy with structural longevity.
