DAZN Acquires EverPass Media to Anchor U.S. Commercial Expansion

DAZN has reached an agreement to acquire EverPass Media, a strategic move that grants the global sports platform a foothold in the U.S. commercial market. By integrating EverPass’s purpose-built streaming technology, DAZN aims to scale its commercial distribution for venues while welcoming major industry players as new shareholders.

The acquisition marks the global launch of DAZN for Business, a dedicated service for hotels, restaurants, and bars. EverPass, founded in 2023 by 32 Equity and RedBird Capital Partners, brings a vital library of premium content to the table, including exclusive commercial rights to NFL Sunday Ticket. Following the deal, EverPass will rebrand to DAZN for Business, with CEO Alex Kaplan continuing to lead operations while assuming a broader role within the DAZN group.

Beyond the NFL, the platform provides access to a wide array of leagues and streaming partners, including the NBA, MLB, Formula 1, and distribution partnerships with Netflix, Peacock, and Apple. This move effectively bridges the gap between DAZN’s existing consumer-facing app and the complex requirements of multi-screen commercial environments. As part of the transition, RedBird Capital Partners, 32 Equity, and TKO Group Holdings will become minority shareholders in DAZN, signaling a unified effort to modernize how premium sports reach public venues.
