Tomorrowland Returns to Shanghai With Expanded Two-Day Festival

The two-day expansion brings a distinct roster of artists to Shanghai’s Huangpu Riverside. Axwell and Lost Frequencies headline the opening night, while Tiësto and the ARTBAT b2b R3HAB collaboration anchor the second day. Organizers have overhauled the Hero Dome venue to support these performances, installing a 99-meter curved LED screen alongside 80 ceiling panels to create a 360-degree visual environment centered on the "Planaxis" theme.

Beyond the stage, the event introduces the Harbour Villa area for GA+ ticket holders, offering exclusive access and priority entry. Tickets go on sale in early September across major platforms including the INS Land App and Damai, with single-day general admission starting at ¥788. Danny Tang, CEO of partner firm Hero Esports, framed the upgrade as a long-term investment in the city’s entertainment infrastructure, noting that the venue’s technical enhancements serve as a permanent fixture for the new INS SEA riverside district.
