Worldpac Wraps STX 2026: A Record-Breaking Industry Gathering
Over 2,500 automotive aftermarket professionals gathered in Oak Brook, Illinois, from August 19-23 for Worldpac’s Supplier and Training Expo. The event served as a high-intensity hub for industry development, resulting in 43,200 collective hours of completed technical training and a massive showcase of innovation from more than 100 international parts manufacturers.
The expo functioned as a bridge between manufacturers and service providers, anchored by keynote appearances from Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw and world champion triathlete Siri Lindley. Bradshaw engaged attendees with lessons on navigating adversity, while Lindley challenged the audience at the Women’s Luncheon to push past perceived limitations. Beyond the stage, the exhibition hall provided a firsthand look at emerging automotive technologies and parts solutions.
Worldpac utilized the gathering to recognize nine suppliers for their contributions to the industry. Akebono took home the Supplier of the Year Award, while other honors were distributed to Bosch, DENSO, KYB, Delphi, Arnott, Aisin, Febi Bilstein, and Castrol for achievements ranging from digital partnership to technical excellence. John Hamilton, President and CEO of Worldpac, emphasized that the event is designed to foster both professional growth and the relationships that sustain the supply chain.
Looking ahead, the company confirmed that the next biennial expo will move to the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. Scheduled for March 29 to April 2, 2028, registration for the upcoming conference is slated to open this December. The shift in venue aims to build upon the momentum generated by this year’s record attendance and training volume.
