VPT Expands Distribution of High-Reliability Power Solutions to DigiKey

The partnership brings VPT’s specialized power products into the DigiKey ecosystem, offering a streamlined alternative for organizations already integrated into the platform. This expansion includes the VXR series, designed specifically to endure extreme shock, vibration, and thermal cycling. These units feature fully encapsulated V-SHIELD epoxy packaging, maintaining operational integrity in temperatures ranging from -55 °C to +105 °C.

Among the newly available hardware is the VXR125-27000S, which marks the series' first 270 V input DC-DC converter. For broader industrial and defense needs, the standard VPT series remains available for high-reliability requirements with a slightly different thermal envelope, operating between -55 °C and +100 °C. According to Trevor, Vice President of North American Sales, the move is intended to simplify supply chains for teams that rely on DigiKey for rapid component sourcing. The availability remains subject to standard export regulations, including ITAR and other relevant international trade controls.
