Rockford Fosgate Launches Custom Audio Suite for 2027 Can-Am Defender
Owners of the 2027 Can-Am Defender can now integrate high-performance audio specifically engineered for their utility vehicle. Developed in partnership with BRP, the new Rockford Fosgate lineup offers a modular approach to off-road sound, ranging from basic front-speaker upgrades to comprehensive, light-integrated audio roof systems.

The collaboration emphasizes precise fitment, ensuring that every component—from amplifiers and harnesses to speaker enclosures—aligns with the Defender’s factory architecture. Integration is handled through the vehicle’s existing Wireless Touch Display or the dedicated PMX-C30 source unit. To combat the noise of wind and engines, the systems utilize built-in digital signal processing and vehicle-specific tuning, delivering clear output without requiring manual calibration.
Scalability remains a core feature, allowing riders to start with a standard 500-watt front-speaker setup and expand into 1,000-watt configurations featuring 10-inch subwoofers. For those seeking an all-in-one installation, the Audio Roof packages incorporate overhead speakers, RGB lighting, and direct support for Can-Am SMART light bars. Every element is built to withstand harsh off-road conditions, with components tested against mud, water, dust, and UV exposure to ensure longevity in demanding environments.
