Middle Tennessee Wood Firms Merge to Form FreeFab Pallet
Two legacy wood product manufacturers, Freeman Wood Products and Fabrication Specialties, have officially merged into a single entity, FreeFab Pallet, Inc. Based in Centerville, Tennessee, the new company consolidates decades of industrial expertise to expand production capacity and enhance custom pallet design services for regional clients.

The merger, which took effect January 1, 2026, unites Teryl Freeman and Mike Goodpasture under a shared leadership structure. Freeman brings a family history in the sawmill business dating to the mid-1800s, while Goodpasture’s firm, Fabrication Specialties, has operated from the same Tennessee location for over fifty years. The two businesses previously collaborated on recycling programs, leading to formal consolidation talks that began in March 2025.
With a current workforce of 49, FreeFab Pallet focuses on custom engineering for specific weight requirements and racking systems. By integrating their respective operational strengths, the company aims to optimize shipping costs for clients through specialized pallet design software. Moving forward, the leadership team plans to prioritize investments in automation and equipment to scale production while maintaining the long-term employee retention that defined both individual firms.
