Rozman joins a roster that already features top-10 Grandmasters Vincent Keymer and Anish Giri, effectively positioning BASILISK as a dominant force in professional chess. His mandate involves developing a new global content strategy and overseeing competitive initiatives for the organization, which seeks to bridge the gap between academic rigor and esports entertainment.

"I am dreaming big with what we will create together, the kind of content that has never been made before in chess," Rozman said, describing the organization as a "renaissance of nerds." CEO Christopher Bothur noted that the partnership leverages Rozman’s unique ability to simplify complex intellectual pursuits, aligning with the team's broader mission to promote games that sharpen cognitive development.

Beyond his digital presence, Rozman maintains a focus on traditional media and live events. His latest book, How to Win at Chess, Next Level: The Ultimate Guide for Intermediate Play, arrives October 6, followed by a five-city European tour. The addition of Rozman brings BASILISK’s total reach to over 20 million fans, further integrating the team's influence across the intersection of competitive gaming and STEM-focused education.
