BODYBAR Pilates Targets World Record with 100-Person Reformer Session
One hundred reformers will align in Frisco, Texas, on September 13, as BODYBAR Pilates attempts to set a record for the largest simultaneous reformer class. The event commemorates a century of the Pilates discipline and the franchise’s own milestone of opening its 100th studio location this fall.
The 50-minute session, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at the Omni Frisco Hotel, features a synchronized workout led by co-founder and chief brand officer Kamille McCollum. Balanced Body, Inc. is supplying the equipment for the private event, which includes franchise owners, instructors, and media members. Beyond the record attempt, the company is donating $10,000 to the Foundation for Women's Cancer, marking $100 for each reformer used, to support gynecological cancer awareness.
This celebration coincides with the brand’s expansion, which culminates in a grand opening at Presidio in North Fort Worth on September 8. The company is maintaining rigorous documentation of the September 13 event to meet formal standards for record-keeping. The effort is supported by partners including Pilabarre, which is providing branded grip socks, and FitRadio, which will supply musical entertainment for the participants.
