Tenable Holdings to Join S&P SmallCap 600
Tenable Holdings will join the S&P SmallCap 600 index on August 31, 2026, replacing Leggett & Platt. The adjustment follows the pending acquisition of Leggett & Platt by Somnigroup International, which necessitated the reshuffling of index constituents ahead of the market opening on the final Monday of the month.
The transition marks a shift for Tenable Holdings, which moves into the small-cap benchmark as a representative of the information technology sector. Leggett & Platt, currently classified under consumer discretionary, will exit the index upon the completion of its deal with Somnigroup International. S&P Dow Jones Indices confirmed that the change will be effective prior to the commencement of trading on August 31, reflecting the ongoing consolidation within the market indices managed by S&P Global.
