ESR Targets Material Innovation and Cooling at IFA 2026

The company’s latest lineup centers on the "Designed for What's Next" philosophy, which CEO Tim Wu describes as a focus on the overlooked tactile and functional concerns of smartphone users. Among the headlining products is the Atelier Case, ESR’s first venture into vegan leather. Utilizing silicone-based materials common in luxury automotive interiors, the case aims to bridge the gap between aesthetic refinement and practical resistance to stains and wear.

Durability remains a core theme, specifically regarding screen clarity and impact resistance. ESR is presenting new screen protectors that utilize Accessory Glass by Corning to achieve double the scratch resistance of traditional glass. These are paired with proprietary impact absorption technology that the company claims offers up to 10x the protection of standard alternatives. Furthermore, their transparent cases now feature SGS-certified anti-yellowing technology, validated to withstand UV aging equivalent to over five months of real-world use.

On the power front, ESR is addressing the heat dissipation issues inherent in high-speed wireless charging. Their updated CryoBoost technology now supports Qi2 25W wireless charging, integrating active cooling into a slimmer form factor. For travelers and power users, the brand is also launching a compact, 60W fast-charging solution featuring an integrated, retractable braided cable. These products will be available for hands-on demonstration at Booth H3.2-121, followed by additional media events in New York and Tokyo on September 15.
