Wix Faces Securities Class Action Over AI Product Claims
Investors who purchased Wix.com Ltd. shares between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026, are being urged to join a class action lawsuit. Schall, Brown & Schwartz LLP claims the company misled shareholders regarding the competitiveness of its AI platforms and the true costs associated with their development.

The complaint alleges that Wix violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing false and misleading statements to the market. Specifically, the firm asserts that Wix overstated the appeal of its Wix Harmony platform and the Base44 acquisition while obscuring the actual financial burden of building and marketing these AI-driven products. Investors who suffered losses as a result of these disclosures are now eligible to seek the role of lead plaintiff.
The deadline to apply for lead plaintiff status in the case is September 22, 2026. While the class has not yet been certified, shareholders who do not take action will remain absent class members. Brian Schall and David Schwartz of the Los Angeles-based firm are overseeing the litigation, which focuses on the disparity between the company's public representations and the economic realities revealed at the end of the class period.
