The engine driving this year's performance, the α11 AI Processor Gen3, represents a significant hardware leap. Boasting a 5.6-fold increase in NPU performance compared to its predecessor, the processor enables dual 4K upscaling and virtual 11.1.2 channel audio. Beyond mere visual fidelity, the chip has earned industry recognition, including an AI Award from Tom’s Guide, for its ability to eliminate color banding and render complex scenes with natural precision. This technology, previously limited to the OLED evo series, now extends to LG’s ultra-large Micro RGB evo displays.

LG is simultaneously prioritizing user-centric intelligence through three core features integrated into the webOS 26 platform. Voice ID recognizes individual users to curate tailored content recommendations, while an integrated AI Chatbot assists with technical troubleshooting via plain-language prompts. Complementing these is the AI Concierge, which analyzes historical viewing habits to suggest content and settings without requiring users to exit their current screen. Security remains a pillar of the 2026 rollout; the LG Shield system, a CES 2026 Innovation Awards honoree, employs seven layers of protection to secure data transmission and prevent unauthorized access. Attendees can view these capabilities firsthand at the company’s booth in Hall 18 at Messe Berlin through September 8.
