FGM Architects Climbs to 38th Spot in National Industry Ranking
A 57-position surge in the annual Building Design+Construction Giants 400 report has propelled FGM Architects to the 38th spot among the nation’s top architecture firms. The leap, detailed in the 2026 edition of the industry benchmark, reflects the firm's expanding influence across nonresidential and multifamily building sectors.

The jump from 95th to 38th place underscores a period of sustained momentum for the Oak Brook-based practice. According to company leadership, this ascent is directly tied to the firm's performance in sectors ranging from public safety and municipal infrastructure to education and corporate development. The Giants 400 report, now in its 50th year, ranks firms based on verified gross revenue from commercial, institutional, and multifamily building projects completed by teams across the United States and Canada.
John Dzarnowski, CEO of FGMA, attributed the firm's growth to the collaborative relationships maintained with clients and the dedication of the firm's internal teams. While the architecture landscape remains competitive, with nearly 600 firms submitting data for the 2026 report, FGMA’s focus on civic and public-service-oriented spaces has solidified its position as a major player. The firm, which operates eight offices nationwide, continues to prioritize designs intended to support community engagement and long-term utility.
