Postquant Labs Unveils Bridgeless Quantum-Resistant Swap Protocol
Postquant Labs is set to launch QuipSwap, a peer-to-peer protocol designed to execute cross-chain transactions without the vulnerabilities associated with traditional bridges or oracles. By eliminating centralized intermediaries, the platform aims to secure digital assets against the rising threat of quantum computing attacks on blockchain infrastructure.

The protocol facilitates direct wallet access exchanges between different blockchains, allowing users to trade assets without relying on the wrapped tokens or smart contract bridges that have historically served as primary targets for hackers. This trustless mechanism ensures that if one party executes their side of a trade, the counterparty automatically gains their claim key, preventing manipulation and unauthorized reversals.
According to CEO Colton Dillion, the architecture allows users to maintain their existing strategies across chains while tapping into the broader Quip ecosystem. CTO Dr. Richard Carback emphasized that current blockchain security is inadequate because quantum advancements threaten the underlying cryptographic foundations. By removing intermediaries that would otherwise require complex upgrades, the team argues their P2P approach is the only viable path to genuine network security.
The development follows a live demonstration at ETHDenver and a formal security audit conducted by Oak Security. Beyond the swap protocol, the team has deployed quantum-resistant wallets for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, which are currently in beta. These efforts form part of a broader mission to establish a global standard for quantum computing, with all research being released as open-source code.
