Fintech Startup Bloxley Launches UK Early Access for Multi-Currency Accounts

London-based fintech Bloxley is opening early access to its AI-driven banking platform in the United Kingdom, marking the second phase of a global rollout. The company aims to replace traditional cross-border friction with a single, multi-currency account and card designed for users who live and earn across international borders.

The UK expansion follows a recent rollout in the European Union, with a US launch projected for late 2026. Bloxley’s platform centers on a multi-currency account that allows users to hold, send, and receive funds without undergoing repeated currency conversions. According to CEO Leon Fischer-Brocks, the goal remains a universal account that functions identically regardless of the user's location. The platform is designed for a mobile-first generation, featuring a simplified onboarding process and a personal @BloxID handle to replace traditional account numbers.

Product development is currently steered by real-world usage data gathered from the EU launch. Chief Product Officer Jeff McLaughlin noted that the platform’s features are being refined based on user feedback, with the UK cohort expected to push the software in new directions. Upon launch, users will gain access to MoneyPenny, an AI assistant capable of executing transfers and payments via voice commands. While the current service focuses on core banking, additional tools for shared savings and instant requests remain in development. Bloxley operates through a partnership with Equals, which provides the necessary financial infrastructure, and is currently accepting registrations for the UK early access cohort through its waitlist portal.
