Global Wealth Management Secures Third Consecutive Growth Award
For the third year running, the South Florida Business Journal has named Global Wealth Management one of the region’s fastest-growing firms. The Fort Lauderdale-based practice, which now oversees $1.4 billion in client assets, attributes its sustained expansion to a client-first approach rather than an explicit pursuit of scale.
The rankings, verified by the accounting firm CohnReznick LLP, analyzed revenue growth across the 2023–2025 fiscal period. While the firm currently operates six offices spanning from Fort Lauderdale to The Villages, leadership suggests that this footprint is a byproduct of client referrals rather than a top-down corporate strategy. Managing Director and Co-Founder Grant Conness noted that the firm’s growth trajectory reflects the stability they offer retirees, adding that clients frequently refer neighbors and friends once they gain confidence in their financial plans.
Founded in 2009, the firm serves pre-retirees and retirees with a mix of income, estate, and retirement planning services. CEO Ivan Minkov credited the team’s personal knowledge of clients—knowing family milestones and individual goals rather than just account numbers—as the primary engine behind their retention. Although GWM purchased marketing rights related to the award, the firm did not pay to participate in the initial ranking process.
