Simon Property Group Debuts Commerce Media Platform
With over $100 billion in annual commerce flowing through its properties, Simon is transforming its retail footprint into a data-driven advertising engine. The real estate giant launched Simon Media Network this week, aiming to bridge the gap between physical shopping habits and measurable digital campaign performance for national brands.

The new platform leverages first-party intelligence gathered from more than 200 global destinations, moving beyond simple impression-based marketing. By integrating digital displays, experiential activations, and the Simon+ loyalty program, the network allows advertisers to track consumer behavior across diverse touchpoints, including dining, entertainment, and retail. Unlike retail-specific networks, this approach focuses on the broader context of where consumers spend their time and how those real-world interactions influence purchasing decisions.
Chief Revenue Officer Jared Blechman noted that modern marketers require proof that campaigns drive actual engagement rather than just visibility. To meet this demand, the network provides closed-loop attribution, connecting physical visitation and transaction data back to specific ad spend. Campaigns can be deployed with granular control, ranging from individual properties to nationwide coverage, providing brands the flexibility to align messaging with local market trends while maintaining consistent measurement standards across the entire portfolio.
