Tutti Launches VM to Enable Real-Time Multi-Agent Collaboration
Tutti has opened early access to Tutti • VM, a platform designed to bridge the gap between isolated local AI agents and shared cloud environments. By allowing multiple agents from different users to operate within a single workspace, the system enables real-time collaboration without requiring agents to relinquish local security or credentials.

Most modern coding agents, including Claude Code and Codex, function in silos. While these tools excel at individual tasks, their output is often lost during the manual "handoff" process between team members, where compressed summaries replace granular context. Tutti • VM addresses this by implementing a multi-layer virtualization architecture that keeps identity and execution on the user's local machine while synchronizing collaborative actions in a cloud-based Room.
The platform resolves the inherent tension between local privacy and cloud-based scalability by intercepting process calls at the kernel level. This allows the system to manage file operations and command execution without exposing private API keys or SSH credentials to the cloud provider. By moving conflict resolution to the filesystem layer, Tutti • VM permits multiple agents to modify the same files simultaneously, effectively treating the entire project environment as a shared, real-time document.
Founder Tan Zeng compares the technology to a virtual reality interface for artificial intelligence, noting that the platform acts as a bridge for existing local tools rather than a replacement. Because the system only transmits lightweight collaboration instructions to the cloud rather than syncing raw data, it operates at a fraction of the cost of traditional cloud-native development environments. The service currently supports Claude Code and Codex, with access available via invite codes at tutti.sh.
