Detroit’s Walker-Miller Energy Services Joins 2026 Inc. 5000 List
Detroit-based Walker-Miller Energy Services has secured the 1,045th spot on the 2026 Inc. 5000, a ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The recognition highlights the firm’s rapid expansion in the clean energy sector and its impact on regional economic development and workforce equity.
Founded and led by Carla Walker-Miller, the company stands as one of the nation’s largest Black- and woman-owned energy efficiency firms. The Inc. 5000 ranking is based on percentage revenue growth between 2022 and 2025, a period during which the firm continued to scale its operations while focusing on its B-Corp mission to reduce energy burdens for underserved communities.
