ICF Secures $20 Million Contract for Northeast Utility Efficiency

ICF will oversee the program’s end-to-end implementation, ranging from workforce training and incentive processing to complex data analytics. The firm plans to deploy its Sightline platform to identify peak energy demand periods, allowing utility providers to predict grid stress and tailor efficiency measures for individual households. These initiatives cover new construction, major renovations, and multifamily housing projects across the region.

Kyle Wiggins, senior vice president for energy, environment and infrastructure at ICF, noted that the initiative treats residential efficiency as a strategic grid asset. By embedding electrification into the early stages of construction, the consortium aims to meet rising demand through lower energy consumption. ICF has partnered with these utilities for nearly two decades, helping to transform regional building practices and establish one of the nation’s most robust residential energy efficiency markets.
