Anime Adaptation of Kagurabachi Expands Cast for 2027 Premiere
The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono’s Weekly Shonen Jump hit Kagurabachi has finalized two key roles: Miku Ito will voice the information broker Hinao, while Miyari Nemoto joins the production as Char Kyonagi, the girl at the center of the story’s unfolding mystery.

The announcement coincides with the release of dedicated character visuals and trailers, offering fans a first look at the animation style produced by studio Cypic. The project, slated for an April 2027 premiere, aims to translate the manga’s gritty, sword-centric action into a high-octane series. The show features a veteran creative team, including director Tetsuya Takeuchi and character designer Keigo Sasaki, who previously worked on titles such as Heavenly Delusion and The Seven Deadly Sins.
Taihi Kimura, who earned the Best New Actor award at the 2025 Seiyu Awards, anchors the cast as the vengeful protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira. With the original manga series currently boasting a circulation exceeding 4 million copies, the production team is leaning into the source material’s blend of traditional Japanese aesthetic and dark, modern fantasy. The anime will be available to international audiences through platforms including Crunchyroll and MUSE.
