Investors File Securities Class Action Against Capricor Therapeutics

A new class action lawsuit alleges that Capricor Therapeutics misled shareholders by altering clinical trial data protocols for its drug, Deramiocel. The complaint claims the company resubmitted its Biologics License Application to the FDA without obtaining necessary regulatory agreement, potentially damaging investor interests during the period between December 2025 and July 2026.

The legal action, filed by the DJS Law Group, centers on alleged violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. According to the complaint, Capricor Therapeutics modified the statistical analysis plan for Deramiocel but failed to secure the required FDA approval for these adjustments before proceeding with its filing. These actions form the basis of the claim that the company issued materially misleading statements to the market throughout the class period.

Shareholders who purchased CAPR stock between December 17, 2025, and July 26, 2026, have until September 28, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff. David J. Schwartz, lead attorney for the firm, is managing the case, which targets the recovery of losses sustained by investors during the specified window. Participation in the lawsuit does not require an individual to serve as a lead plaintiff to remain eligible for a potential financial recovery.
