Michigan Wolverines WR Andrew Marsh Joins Forces with UMCU

Andrew Marsh, the Michigan Wolverines’ standout wide receiver, has formalized a partnership with the University of Michigan Credit Union. The collaboration, which builds on Marsh’s existing membership with the organization, aims to blend financial education for student-athletes with community outreach initiatives throughout the 2026-27 athletic season.

The alliance between the sophomore playmaker and the credit union stems from a personal connection established shortly after Marsh arrived in Ann Arbor. Beyond the field, the partnership emphasizes a shared focus on community-first values. Marsh has already participated in the credit union’s "Behind the Uniform" initiative, a program developed to equip student-athletes with essential money-management skills.

Tiffany Ford, CEO of UMCU, noted that the relationship is built on authenticity rather than a standard corporate arrangement. The credit union has already integrated Marsh into its fan engagement strategy through the "ATM3," a custom mobile experience that debuted in July. This interactive unit provides prizes and activities for local fans and youth, serving as a focal point for the credit union’s outreach efforts this year.

Marsh enters the 2026 season under new head coach Kyle Whittingham following a breakout freshman campaign where he led the Wolverines in receptions, yardage, and touchdowns. As part of the new agreement, fans can expect appearances by the wide receiver at UMCU branch locations and various community events throughout the fall. The credit union, which manages $1.4 billion in assets for nearly 123,000 members, intends to leverage this partnership to further its mission of expanding financial literacy across Southeast Michigan.
