The Mount Pleasant branch is the latest development in a rapid regional expansion. Last month, the bank debuted in Summerville on Station Street, building upon the foundation established by its Charleston office on King Street. Beyond the Lowcountry, the institution maintains a presence in Greenville and Spartanburg. This growth brings the company’s total footprint to 12 full-service locations serving 10 markets across North and South Carolina.

Regional president Trent Holland stated that the new facility focuses on local relationships and personalized financial guidance. The site includes drive-thru teller lanes and a drive-up ATM to accommodate local traffic. Jennifer Schuchart, Charleston market president, noted that the team aims to embed the bank’s customer-centered model into the community’s daily financial operations. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the parent company, Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, currently manages $284 billion in assets.
