Megan Rood Named CEO of Colorado Urology
With over two decades of experience navigating the state’s healthcare landscape, Megan Rood has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Colorado Urology. She takes the helm of Denver’s leading independent urology practice during a period of strategic expansion and a renewed focus on regional patient access.

Rood joins the organization following an extensive career managing physician practices and ambulatory surgery centers. Dr. Ali Sarram, the practice president, noted that Rood’s selection followed a search for leadership capable of aligning with the firm's existing clinical values and long-term vision for innovation. She holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Regis University, with a specialization in healthcare management and psychology.
In her new role, Rood plans to prioritize the integration of evidence-based care and advanced technology to meet rising patient expectations for timely, local service. She intends to foster collaboration among specialists, support staff, and hospital partners to streamline care delivery across the Denver metropolitan area. The practice currently operates a network that includes radiation oncology services and interventional radiology, aiming to maintain its footprint as a regional leader in specialized urologic treatment.
