Choi arrives at H.I.G. following a tenure at Blackstone, where she served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Korea for the firm’s Institutional Client Solutions. During her time there, she was instrumental in scaling private wealth fundraising and managing relationships with institutional investors. Her appointment comes as H.I.G. seeks to grow its Asian limited partner base and connect regional investors with its broader global investment capabilities.

Jordan Peer Griffin, Global Head of the Capital Formation Group, noted that Choi’s track record in building enduring partnerships will be central to the firm’s regional strategy. H.I.G. currently manages $75 billion in capital and has invested in more than 400 companies since its 1993 founding. By bringing in a veteran with deep roots in the Asian market, the firm intends to bolster its presence and operational reach across the region.
